The stand alone exe file, makes this service very convenient and secure. There is No Installation of any software to receive this Remote help. The customer has complete control of the connection to the help desk and can disconnect at any time.

Remote Help Instructions:
After you have right clicked on the wchelp.zip attachement you will be prompted to download, save target as........ Do not rename the file Then you will be prompted to select a download location, ensure your folder path is your desktop and click on SAVE, to save the wchelp.zip to your desktop. After downloading the file to your desktop you may be prompted to OPEN or CLOSE the download. For now just CLOSE the download. An email must be sent to webcontractor@webcontractor.org after the download is completed. A confirmation email will be sent back, to setup a time to launch the program for the remote service to begin.


After downloading the file to your desktop that was sent to you via email, it will look like this. zip folder

After opening the zip folder the icon, inside, will look like this exe file in folder
Just drag the program onto the desktop.

The file in the folder will look like this, once it is placed on the desktop. exe file

Important: Please Make Sure You Move The wchelp.exe file from the zip folder To Your Desktop.


Now double click wchelp.exe, to launch it and the picture below will be on your screen. Just double click as indicated below, thats it. Selections may vary per customer, the confirmation email will specify which selection to click, if needed.

What is this service?

UltraVNC SC is a mini (166k) UltraVNC Server that is customized and preconfigured for download by a Customer. UltraVNC SC does Not require any installation and does not make use of the registry. The customer (you) only has to download the little executable and Click to make the connection to the webcontractor helpdesk service. Through this connection I can repair and correct many problems, if not all.
Again this small program version is initiated by you, the person that is requesting remote support service: you actually need to voluntary click to initiate this connection. The program doesn't use the registry and/or a password. Settings are preconfigured, a password is not needed for an outgoing connection.
The server can only connect to the Webcontractor IP address that has been predefined. Meaning this program can Not connect to any other computer other than the Webcontractor help desk computer.

This service can also use up to 128bit encryption. The encryption level depends on the OS and installed MS Crypto api. No incoming connections, no unattended service connection, Ever. This program is automatically and systematically uninstalled when the connection is closed, for added security. The desktop icon can be safely deleted after the session is over or saved for any future connections if needed.
Any of the § service software installed during the remote service will be done with no extra charge and can be kept on your PC for your future use.

§ Service Software used/supplied by WebContractor Only, Customer Software will be installed at regular hourly rates.
